The overall condition of this trail is rough and rocky, perhaps the worst section of the northern Kungsleden overall. And though there are no major ascents, the trail winds up and down over small hills and river crossings, making it much more strenuous hiking that it looks by the numbers.

ELEVATION – 330 meters

At Kvikkjokk you have reached the end of your journey on the northern half of the Kungsleden. The STF mountain station has all the amenities needed after a long hike, including: electricity, hot showers, sauna, wifi, fully stocked shop, and restaurant. The roaring waters of the nearby river will see you fall into a deep sleep.
