SITOJAURE TO AKTSE
Though the day is short and in good condition, the ascents are much steeper than the previous day. There are not many options for water on this section, so be sure to carry enough with you.
AKTSE HUT
ELEVATION – 550 meters
Located on a hillside in the clearing of an old farmstead, the setting at Aktse is one of the most atmospheric along the trail. Modern improvements have brought sinks with drains to some of the huts and there is even a working outdoor shower! Though only cold water, unfortunately.
